The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has awarded Hyundai’s captivating trio five-star crash test ratings and that is the highest government rating under the agency’s New Car Assessment Program.

The all-new Hyundai Veracruz and Santa Fe were awarded the highest ratings for both frontal and side-impact crash tests. The 2007 Elantra, on the other hand, scored five stars for frontal crash performance. The Veracruz garnered four stars for rollover performance.
