Santa Claus Indiana got it’s name in 1852 by a child on Christmas Eve. The town just let the Santa cheer go. The surrounding lakes have Christmas themed names, like Christmas, Noel and Holly. The streets have themed names as well. The name of the town was very enticing for certain Holiday themed businesses. Today there are more attractions, like an 18 hole golf course, antique toy shops, Christmas themed museums and manufactures of everything from sleighs, to toys. Be sure to visit Holiday World, Splashin Safari, and Santa’s Toy Shop. Get the Santa spirit anytime of year.

Is Santa Claus Real? This is a question that is on most children’s lips at some point in their childhood. What will you tell your child what they ask if Santa Claus is real?
